Song of the Caryatids was a multi-media installation incorporating multi-image slide projection, sound, and performance for the camera. The work was intended to explore the imaginary emotional and psychological lives of the female pillar figures (Caryatids) that held up the porch at the Erecheton next to the Parthanon at the Acropolis.
The work was installed in numerous locations, each exhibition conformed the work to its architectural context often projecting images on walls, ceilings, floors and custom made scrims.
