Pulse was the second project in the Bio Sensor Projects series. The performer, Marija Stamankovic, wears a heart monitor that tracks her heart beats and wireless microphone amplifying her voice during the performance. As she breaths and vocalizes she controls the video projected on to the stage above her. With each beat of her heart audio files from a database of sounds collected from the Gottelborn mine are amplified into the performace space. As her movement increases so does the rate and intensity of the sound and video image.
